I was surfing the web the other night and I found this website. Pretty cool I must add.

I'm thinking of getting into the business as I'm tired of working for other people. I would like to have more control of my life and work when I want to and take off when I want.

Therefore, my question for all of you is....

I'm looking for a truck mount system but am not sure of what model/brand to purchase. From reading your posts, looks like prochem is the way to go. What do you guys suggest? Also, if you have a van with a truck mount all ready to go, let me know as I'm in the market to purchase one.

I forgot to introduce myself. I live in Los Banos, California, married for 32 years, 3 great kids, and 5 grandchildren.

Unless you plan to do your own maintenance, I would first look for a distributor with a good service department. Then chose from one of the brands they carry.

Define your target market and use. If you plan to also clean ceramic tile, you need more water pressure. One of the big boxe trucks (Vortex or similar) can be great for dual wanding, but may be more than you need if you plan to be a one man owner operator. Your use will determine what suits your needs.

A distributor who carries several brnads has no reason to push one over the other. They can suit your needs.

Scotts points are valid. I would add that if I started over again I would look for a decent machine and van used to save a little money. Then as business got going I would move up to bigger and better.
Employing the "first you crawl,then you walk and then you run" scenario.
