    WATER ENGINE LEAKAGE???

    boxxer421 in MI (very cold) hot water was squirtin out of engine, not exhaust is this a heat Exchngr prob? i had a portable heat in the van overnite before it happened did one job it was okay, then by the time i got to second job it was squriting all over the van, n hot steam til it condensed on my windshield n windows, any one have a clue.? i took it to tech he said to go tomorrow because he needs time to check cus he ddnt know what it was.

    sounds like a hx unless your engine is water cooled.

    could be a heat exchange, or a busted pressure hose on the machine.

    The 421 is an air cooled Briggs, so I agree with Timmy and Nicky that its probably HX related or pressure hose.

    thx guys turns out it was a pressure line that rub to the front of the engines fan. Although i almost got scammed ,i went to 2 diffrnt places. the first guy told me it was HX leak and it was gnna cost me about 2 grand to fix, the second guy found the hose leaking in 5 minutes after diagnosing it, and fixed it in 5 mins. thank god.
