    Question spitfire 3.2 heat exchanger

I have a spitfire 3.2 with a internal crack in the heat exchanger! Parts like this are a bit expensive in Australia due to the small market we have here. Can anyone recommend a supplier in the USA Who is willing to deal with me?

    Thanks Richard

Richard try TCS in Georgia ask for Mike 770-368-8292 if you want to pay more than you should call jondon.

Is the HX the one on the side of the machine or under the machine. Either way you are probably better off building one yourself.

Chris sheldon may have one laying around . drop him a pm.

Thanks for your input. I was hoping to find a second hand one, but I may cut this one open and repair it.
    Thanks again

    Re: spitfire 3.2 heat exchanger

another option is keep an eye out for old machines that you can pick up cheap and scavenge for parts..... with the exception of a replacement eng (and I think I'll upgrade to a 18hp the next time I need to replace one) I think I have enough parts to build another... upper and lower heat exchanger, silencer, blower, preheater, mix tank.....) Also have a heater core from car, to be mounted in front of the blower exhaust in the winter time, to preheat the water a little more before it enters the machine, but didn't even run my truck mount this last winter... the few jobs I had, I handled ok with my portable(s). Grad to start using the TM last week for the first time since Nov.
