Carpet Cleaners Warehouse, Australia’s leading trade supplier to the carpet cleaning and restoration industry has a challenging opportunity for an experienced and self motivated Industrial Equipment Service Technician.

  • Suited to an enthusiastic, well presented, and trade qualified applicant
  • 1 x Position based in Brisbane Australia, remuneration package AUS$ 40-60K, inc company vehicle
  • 1 x Position based in Sydney Australia, remuneration package AUS$ 50-70K, inc company vehicle
  • 4 year sponors immigration visa can be arranged
  • Relocation expenses can be negotiated

The focus of your responsibilities will be to provide after sales technical support and service for our market leading van mounted cleaning technology. You will be responsible for the installation and commissioning of new equipment, including training clients in the equipments operation and maintenance. In addition you will perform preventive maintenance services and breakdown services on our own brands of equipment and on a challenging variety of our competitors’ equipment. Your daily duties will include:

  • Ownership of health & safety protocols in the workshop area
  • Schedule workshop appointments with customers
  • Troubleshoot breakdowns
  • Installation, service & maintenance of Hydramaster truckmounts.(www.hydramaster.com)
  • Assistance with other branch duties such as, customer service and warehouse duties
  • Developing a positive rapport with the customers & resolving issues
  • Ensuring total customer satisfaction is maintained

Your core technical skills would be:

  • Mechanical Trade certificate
  • Good understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems
  • General knowledge of electrical control systems
To be considered for this role you will be required to be trade qualified in a mechanical discipline, have solid mechanical skills and hold a Class C manual licence or equivalent.

Ideally, you will be energetic, motivated & able to work without supervision. You will also have proven strong organisational skills, ability to get the job done and be able to juggle multiple tasks. 4 year sponors immigration visa can be arranged. Relocation expenses can be negotiated.
