Default How much per sq. foot?

How much do you charge per sq. foot to clean tile? Feel free to list any other hard surfaces.

I average arount 50 psf. I go up on smaller jobs and may discount slightly for a large job.

Default Pricing Tile & Grout

I agree with the above - but you can get more $$$ in Virginia than people do in Florida. My standard pricing in Cleveland, OH is (not taking into account any extenuating circumstances).

Clean Only = $.75-$1.00
Clean & Clear Seal = $1.25-$1.50
Clean & ColorSeal = $1.75-$3.00

$350 job min

Our pricing is nearly identical to SJA above. Our minimum is $175.00 for hard surface, unless we are already set up for carpet cleaning. Then our minimum is only $65.00 for an extremely small area.

For tile .70 to clean and .30 to seal. Some in my area are at $1 or $2 a ft. to clean.

Even at .50 a ft. you can still make close to $100 an hour on residential.

I really can't tell you what my competitors are charging because I don't operate their business so I don't care what they charge, if you are asking in order to get an idea on what to charge well my answer is-what price can you sell?
I charge $1.25 - $1.75- $2.25 -$3.35 sq ft and every time I'm done with a job I think that I haven't charged enough. I use package pricing so that is why I have four different prices.
Only you can determine what to charge in order to make the profits you need to be in business, many cleaner say "I can't charge those prices in my area" as if they own the town. I live in a country community population of 58k and average income of $36k so I'm not in a metropolitan area but what I have discovered is that people will pay a fair price to get their perceived value so don't short yourself by using someone else price structure
