Thread: What's best chemical for greasy tile floor ? Please help!

Viper VEnom is made for greasy tiles floors. That plus a little dwell time and water pressure will correct most situations.

If the grout has been neglected, never cleaned, never or seldom sealed, you mayneed extra steps like acid to etch the grout or color seal or even new grout.

You can boost the Viper VEnom with some Citrus Solv. You can also disolve some Boost All in hot water and pour / spray / mop that on after you apply the Viper Venom prespray. This helps whiten the grout lines.

Anvil by Unitex is the best I have found so far. BUT I am currently using Grime-B-Gone from Duane boosted with citrus and it works incredibly well too. I have even taken his Grime-B-Gone and boosted it with Cleanstreak and it did a phenomenal job at one of my nastiest and greasiest restaurants.

I have tried Viper Venom boosted with CitrusSolv on a greasy resty and was not impressed. I then tried Prochem T&G boosted and it was like night and day!!! Was very impressed with the Prochem stuff.

I have also heard very good things about Anvil products too! Just not impressed with the Viper stuff from Interlink.

The venom stuff never really worked for me even on mildly dirty floors. Too expensive because you almost have to go 1:1 to get a half way decent result. Palmolive would work better. Shorebest 2790 as mentioned above is best, it is better than Anvil. The same company also makes a kick butt enzyme degreaser called Bugs AF.

Prochem Professional Tile and Grout is AMAZING!! Never boosted it, but I have used it as a prespray on restaurant carpet and that worked great too.
