    sticky tape residule on newly waxed vct

    I have a customer who has for whatever reason put tape down on the floor that I stripped and waxed for him a few months back. He called today and asks me to come by and see if I can clean this off for him. Does any one have a suggestion on what to use in order to remove the residule without harming the finish.

    goof off on a rag rub it over the tape and it will come right off.

    I use mineral spirits or good ole charcoal lighter fluid for stuff like that! Never fails!

    Try a little dilute lemon juice, hey, its "GREEN" and wont hurt the wax.

    Is it alot of it? or something you can just scrap up with a window scaper?
