    TurboForce vs the Sx 12

They both seems to be good machines.

I am not sure of the differences they have.

I would like some feedback for those who may have used both or just one out in the field,

There is also the point of the brush or the hard ring on the bottom at the floor to consider

Any help - I would be grateful..

They are both good machines. I have nothing bad to say about the competition.

The handle arrangement is different. Which you prefer may be personal preference. I hav eonly used the SX-12. I felt very comfortable using it in a baclk and forth motion like a vacuum cleaner. Some have said that SX-12 is easier to use back and forth and the Turbo is easier to swing side to side like a rotary machine. But not everyone agrees with that. Both machines can be used in either fashion.

The SX-12 has two vacuum tubes. I prefer this for better extraction compared to one tube on the Turbo.

Both machines have both type of floor rings, brush or hard plastic. The brush bottom should always be used when cleaning stone. A hard particle, even sand, tapped under the plastic ring could scratch many types of stone floors.

Aside from stone floors, a preference for brush or hard ring tends to depend on how much suction you have and how flat the floor is. The hard plastic rings can suck themselves down to a flat smooth floor. This is not likely to happen with the brush ring.

The machines work almost the same. The Turbo-Hybrid will leave the floor approx 20-30% dryer than the SX-12 (the recovery system inside the dome is different). The replacement parts for both of the units are comparable in price but the Turbo-hybrid parts are just a tad more expensive. I have used every spinner made except the WP one and all of them have their advantages and disadvantages. It all comes down to preference. I currently am using the Mytee one (got a helluva deal on it) and I am actually impressed with it. I like the gun grip and the ability to adjust the handle to different lengths. I am tall and on big jobs the "T" handle would hurt my back after a while.

I have used em all and Turbo Hybrid wins running away. It's lower profile, better construction, vac compensation valve, all make for a better tool. It has superior vac to the others hands down, doesn't matter that the 12 has 2 tubes, it does not have better recovery than the Turbo. I have 2 that I use daily. If you don't use it so often, buy the cheaper tool.

If you say about only TurboForce vs the Sx 12 so my vote goes to Turboforce. It is perfect equipment and clean as well. Especially for tile floor cleaning and I highly recommend it for best cleaning.

    Best Regards,

    TurboForce is in the lead.

Maybe someone has another brad that they feel should be on the running.

Have them both, the sx-12 is lighter to carry around, but the handle is a little weak. We had to get it welded to strengthen it. I would go with whichever one is a better deal.

Turbo. Have 2 of them. Was on a job with a Turbo and also an SX-12, the Turbo left it drier and din't suck down to the floor so much either.

Yes you can you just have to use the brush ring as you may find it to hard to move so you will need to loosen the air flow bolt on the blue disc. I am a fan of the turbo it works a treat. For polished porcelain and glazed ceramic I use the brush ring this is a safer way as not to scratch the tile as all it takes is a small rock or something and it mayl scratch.

Re: TurboForce vs the Sx 12

I just got a turbo hybrid and used it for the first time yesterday, I think it is better than the SX-12 it seems to move a little easier and drys the floor much better.
