Post used Rotovac 360 for the first time today...

I was not overly impressed...maybe I was expecting more .. like from that video where you see the machine just striping dirt away..there must have been some noticeable difference..custy thought I did a good job...using the 360 is a lot slower, at least it is not a back breaker of pushing the wand....

    oh well...

I would think it has its place and time where it will be better to use this instead of a traditional wand..... Such as nasties, large commercial jobs or empty residential. In a home loaded with furniture it seems these type of tools are just to large and dangerous IMO.

In the future when you use to it, you will get a lot more faster. That what happened to me when I start using 360. Good luck.

I used the wand in the small bedroom, did not make since to even try the 360...but the LR with no furniture at all...I thought I would just pull it out and give it a try...not bad I guess. the carpet was dirty, it was not a nasty, nasty carpet, but I guess it did its job...if the client was pleased, then so was I...

I started out carpet cleaning with the 360 and the cfx, then bought a ninja. With the ninja I was able to move faster and had additional heat to the mix. I now have a truckmount and still use the 360 and it is like a\I gave the 360 steroid pills. I clean about a third of the time less then when I had to set up a portable and I can move quicker. I have tried using a wand several times and I feel more exhuasted at the end of the day. I have a 16" evolution wand to. From my personal experience , the 360 is a great tool and saves a bit of labor.
Some jobs just do not need the 360 as well. CGD, relatively clean carpet, and some instances with berber, it is just not really necessary.

Do you still prescrub the moderate to heavily soiled jobs before using the 360?
