    Ever nicked a wall?

I know everyone has. I use corner protectors and I am really careful but accidents happen. So today, I have my wand upside down while I am moving hoses around and I am in a long skinny hallway. Sure enough the wand tips over and hits the wall. Nice gouge.

How do you guys deal with this? Take some off the price?

I left her a message but haven't heard back yet. (this was a let you in and lock up behind yourself deal)

I offered to fix it on the message I left her..What if she doesn't have any matching paint. I know I can mud it...Luckily its a flat white wall.

It happens even being careful we had it happen few times.. You did the right thing offering to fix it or take off the price. Homedepo are good with matching if she does not have any touch up . Take small sample of the area to them.
She may not say anything...You was nice enough to leave her a message ...
Within doubt we can get it out!

That was nice of you to leave a message.
I once had an offsider put a 175 through a wall.
Being honest and up front save lots of hassles down the road.

My wand fell down 13 steps and hit every both walls a million times.

and the home and just been painted.

I heard: Tink dunk dnunkity tinkity dunky cha ching...ring a ding a ****ititalltohellandback a thump.

Then my world went black and I felt kind squeezy...

I was afraid my wand was broke.

    The wall had zero damage.

But my shorts were not in too good of shape

I have a rule the wand is never to be leaned on nothing. One time on a flood I leaned the wand up against a hallway door in order to move
a piece of furniture. Thought it was a closet needless to say it was the bathroom. The tenants wife was on the toilet and had opened the door to yell something to her husband. When she opened the door the wand went with it and hit her on the head. Now this not being a real upscale place I thought I was in real trouble. She laid on the couch and told her husband she felt dizzy. Thank god everything worked out and I was able to smooth the situation out. Anyway the extra 2 seconds it takes to put the wand on the ground will help to avoid all this. It could of turned out ugly real quick.

One of my first jobs a lady wanted me to move her end tables in the master. There were these very nice expensive looking glass candle burning holders on them. I had told her previously I wouldn't move items with breakables on them but she insisted and said "just be careful please". So I reluctantly agree and move her end tables, being extremely cautious. At the end of my cleaning I go to move them back in place and for a second I was distracted by my phone ringing, then I heard bang, and a glass cracking sound. She got a little upset, so I offered some free carpet stain protector and she seemed a little less upset. Haven't heard from her since though.

I have done it and will probably do it again but I'll fix it for them. It has always been a simple fix. It seems to happen when I do commercial cleaning and not in the homes (lucky me). Offering a discount is nice but fixing it is better.

Been there done that Michael. Great job being up front with the custy. Most likely she will either call you back to fix it or you just won't here from her again about the matter. I had a tech once put an RX20 threw a wall, now that was a fun repair....

Empty house of a friend. For some reason they had two glass sliding tub/shower doors leaning against the living room wall. My brother was in town and since the house was empty told him to come by and say hi. My brother asked if I needed any help and I said if you want to grab one of the glass doors and we will put them in utility room. I guess when my brother set it down it must of hit a corner or something that glass went everywhere. My helper cost me $200 dollars. Wasn't a real profitable job, but still no got hurt . It is kind of funny now but at the time it kinda hurt.
