    Question Prespray.....?

How many areas will you prespray at once before cleaning the areas?

Also how long can you let prespray sit in the carpet before cleaning it? 15mins? 30mins? What is the max?

I'll spray 2 or 3 smaller rooms at a time, or whatever I think i can clean before the prespray dries out. Not sure on the time thing, but as long as it stays wet I don't think it would matter.

I prespray 4 bedrooms, the living room, the family room, the hall and stairs at onece. If there is more than that I break it up into two areas.

I won't do more that 3 or 4 rooms/areas at a time. I also make sure to turn off ceiling fans until that area has been cleaned.

Aaron hit the key point. DON'T LET THE PRESPRAY DRY on the carpet. It is not a matter of how many rooms or how much time. That will vary according to the temperature, humidity, air flow and so forth.

Longer dwell times will usually improve the cleaning results as long as you don't let the prespray dry. Then you have another layer to clean from the carpet.

I pre spreay everything first then I rinse. I think you can let it as long as the carpets remain damp. Once they dry is when it can lose its effectiveness.
