Also, anyone who is on the fence about building one yourself vs. having someone do it for you, take it from a guy who tried it on his own. It's really time consuming and the layout of it was mediocre at best. It was well worth it to let Tre build my site. I am overly joyed every time I see it.

I have to agree with Steven.
My site has been up for about a month and has already paid for itself.
My listing is first page here in Aussie and is number 2 on that list, not bad for that period of time eh.
It's suprises me how many people mention my site.
Thank you Tre for doing my site for me, it's arguably the best thing i have added to my business in 14 years.
If you can afford to get a web site, do yourself a favor and get it done. In this age, people are more inclined to google a tradesperson than look up a print listing.
If your not online your NOT going to grab that customer.

I think this thread is so important to all carpet cleaners i want to add the following.
If you choose the Silver Basic Package, over a year it equates to $2.73 per day to get your business on the web.
I would guess most guys would waste more than that on a cup of coffee or a junk food lunch per day?
To me, this is the most cost effective way of attracting new customers.
And as i just read, Tre is willing to do it by monthly installments.
Thats less than $90 per month.
I will be honest, i really wasn't all that interested in getting a web site. Now that i have one, i am kicking myself for being such a slacker and taking so long to listen to Tre.

SEO is a month to month process, it depends if your competitors in your area are trying to market the same keyword phrases. If you don't have much competition trying to beat you to the punch, then yes the min. monthly plan will do just fine.

Some people out there think they can only go for a few keyword phrases, but that is not enough. We go the extra mile and cover many phrases.

I will use the yellowpages as a example, would you like your advertisement shown only on 1 area or many areas all over the book for more exposure? It all depends on what kind of exposure your shooting for. If you only target 1 phrase, then that is the only customers your going after - why not go for all of them?

Jeff, you have a ton of good links, updated content, right keywords, older domain, over 53* pages, tons of written content with that keyword all over your site and much more. The more content the better, that is why a blog added onto a carpet cleaners website is the best thing for them and gives them the ability to add fresh content whenever they please and go after all the keyword phrases, which we coach them on how to do so to help them save money or they can hire us to do it all.

Here is the deal, I will be the first to admit I am a tight a-s when it comes to spending money!! I work hard for what I earn and second guess every time I spend a dollar on equipment, advertising, etc. When I first started researching web site design I realized the creation of the site itself was the easy part compared to getting the rankings you need to make the site profitable. I have been working with Tre for several weeks getting my web site created. I am a very particular person that wants to be educated about what I am investing in. Tre is taking his time to explain things and is going above and beyond what expected. Listen, if your site can book several jobs a week for you it will pay for itself within the first month. Money well invested in my opinion. Many ask about "return" on their money. A good site will return money 100 fold+ over time. Call Tre and give him the opportunity to speak with you about his services. He is energetic and obviously enjoys what he is doing. I must admit my site is not "optimized" yet but I have called and spoke with others he has designed sites for and they were all vert happy. Support Tre and Truck Mount Forums. They have worked hard for us for free. I am returning the favor by suppporting them and I am getting a quality product while doing so.

Your site will appear in Google Maps + the Organic results and NOT the paid advertising sponsored sections unless requested.

You have to pay to have someone to do it for you or do the work yourself if you want to be listed in the search engines, optimization and marketing the website.

I am having Tre do my site I think my time is much better spent cleaning carpet then me dinking around trying to make a respectable website. That being said I do like having the best of the best of things out there... and as far as the examples I've seen, Tre is on top of the game.
