    Hydramaster Quake?

Anyone out there ever tried Quake from Hydramaster? I got a free gallon of it yesterday and would like to use it as an alternative for my apartment accounts since it's only $20 a gallon.

If so, how much do you mix in a hydro and what do you rinse with? Oh ya…and what are your thoughts on it also! Thanks

    Re: Hydramaster Quake?

I've used it in the past. Power Burst is much more effective. If I remember correctly, I thought Quake was expensive to use, after considering the mix ratio and that you will still need to add Citrusolve to get the oily dirt/spots. Also, You will reach for your spot kit more often with Quake.

    Re: Hydramaster Quake?

Quake is actually fairly expensive to use at 16 oz. to the gallon. To fill a Hydroforce with it you have to put an entire gallon + 1 quart of water with the yellow tip. It is a high ph aggressive cleaner, but too expensive to use imho. At least, that is the reason I don't buy it. There are too many other products that will do as good a job for much less. It did work wonders on a Chinese restaurant I did though. It cut through that like a hot knife through butter. You can go through an entire gallon of that stuff pretty quick though so even at 20.00 a gallon it's actually quite high. I mainly use Grand Slam at 4 oz. per gallon and occasionally 6 oz. per gallon and can tackle just about anything with it. I do boost it sometimes with Hydramaster Grease Break, but even then that is less than half the cost of Quake after adding a booster. At 16 oz. per gallon it is no bargain and there are far less expensive products available, but it does rock on greasy, filthy restaurants!

I always had really good luck with Quake, yeah it is a little expensive to use but it got the job done.

    Re: Hydramaster Quake?

I never have tried it and at a dilution ratio of 16:1, I won't bother
