With the word "free" inserted it seems like a great deal to me. You have nothing to lose by taking Tre up on his offer. And he is absolutely right on the value of Google.

PS Tre draws the analogy of the Yellow Pages. I would argue on this if only because Google offers so much more than the YP even at the height of their market domination ever did. For example, with Google you make one investment up front for your web site/SEO and you are done. (YP you paid and paid and paid- through the nose.) Plus with YP you were stuck with it for year. Google actually encourages change.

Plus I believe Tre even said on another thread he would consider payment plans in some cases.

Because I am a premium member, Tre did some very basic SEO for my company. Sure enough, #1 within a few weeks. If you have the $ to let them do it, I would say do it, and do it now. The jobs you'll get from Google clients should pay for it. Naturally, depending on what cities and keywords you request. I get calls, maybe 1 or 2 weekly, and I love it.

I'm really wanting to target Katy Tx and since it's not as swamped as Houston, I might pull the trigger sooner than later.

I'm already #1 in my city. There's about 9 cities I'd like to be #1 at though. Is this something you can do or not?

edit: the reason is none of those cities are very big, but combined they make up a nice area of maybe 300,000 people

Too many people are in the habit of using Google.

By now it's almost like asking a right handed person to start writng with their left hand.

Habits (like a client only calling your company, favorite show or favorite sport team) are hard to break.
