    What do you think?

    Found a 3 year old Boxxer 421 with 3150 hours for $7900.00

Is this a reasonable price? For 7k to 8K more I could have a new El Diablo.

    Re: What do you think?

I agree. That air cooled engine is likely at the end of it's life and ready to break. A good water cooled of bigger displacement might be good till 10,000 hrs or more. You could change to a new engine as soon as you were to get it, but I would still go new if you can finance one.

    Re: What do you think?

IF the unit is in excellent condition and was well maintained then maybe not too bad a price. Makes me wonder why he's selling it though.
