Only 100 gallon for a big honkin truck like that? Im surprised!
IF you want the ultimate truckmount, for 80k and you could just get a premade Aerotech or Vortex unit all assembled, installed and ready to go!
Richard I feel water tank size has a point of diminishing returns. Here is why;
Good points Rob, and your truckmount is certainly something other proprietors can only dream of or drool over.
I'm in the process of designing a small box truck from this unit:

Any tips you have would be great, they are working on quote for Alum treadplate in the bottom and a rollup door on the side,
but I'm going to switch to have barn door on the back instead of rollup there.
I should be getting the final quote tomorrow.
I'm not buying this guy's truck in the link but its the exact same truck new.
Bulky and space robbers.
Heavy and wear out vehicles components prematurely.
I use 200' "live" continuous fill water inlet lines
And they are ugly imho.
Stanley Steemer doesn't even run fresh water tanks in our area.
Now as to why I didn't choose an Aerotech or Vortex;
No space for my diverse services
I'm not a fan of direct drives
Repairs are difficult
Parts are expensive
Gas guzzlers
And MOST of all I am DONE with over engineered Heat Exchanger units. I don't want my vacuum restricted to create heat,I don't want lots of solenoids and tons of propitiatory parts. All of this leads to costly repairs, frequent downtime and unhappy customers.
This is just a few reasons why I am headed in the direction of this build. Overall I feel when I am done I will save 30k and have more room,have many more features,be more efficient and look better.
