    Procedure for call back and then some

    ok you get a call from custy, and they say there carpet looks terrible after you cleaned it. whats your procedure, what do you say... do you say i will be back to reclean and I am so sorry, do you give money back, a free cleaning of something else. do you admit fauilt right away or say we will come look at it...you have have seen my post about green spots. well hopfully i will go look at it and reclean and no problmes.. but lets say i go clean it and it does not come up or it comes back.. do i say I will replace it... or do you have some one come inspect it... how do you word it on the phone or in person...of course they are on the defence when they call.. they are like you better fix this.. i dont want to make a mistake and say... we wil do whatever it takes.. or do you say I will just make it right... RIGHT meaing doing the right thing if its my fuait i fix if its not I dont...

    Don't ever assume the customer is giving you the exact information.

    I would let them know I understood why they were concerned and that I wanted to see how I could help.

    Next step was to set up a time that fit their schedule and mine. Look at it to see if the mystery spots are a lightining issue, new stains, imagination or a true issue. Come prepared to correct the situation.

    Only if repeated failure to get things clean would I consider refunding the payment. But if it is a cleaning issue Don't hesitate to pay back if that is the right thing to do.

    I agree with Scott.. I just had one today .white carpet came out great .. Lady called us saying spots wasn't there before we cleaned in her bedroom..Get there to find she place a plant in pot on carpet and watered it... Things happen .We always try to return asap and assume the customer is right..That way never get upset its not always your fault.. It happens in this business ,do your best to make them happy..
    Within doubt we can get it out!
