Please tell me that is just a joke lol. I seriously hope no one repairs them that way. I get more redo s from clients trying those that very way. Usually they smear the glue too.

She is cute though. I wish she was on her hands and knees fixing my carpet burns.....

But seriously though people do try to do that and manage to somehow screw it up. I am not sure how but I get calls for carpet burns too that someone tried to fix

Yah, that was a little weird to me too. What happens the next time she has it cleaned? Will those fibers stick to the glue when they come into contact with 220 degree water and a truckmount suction?

There are actually some who teach this type of method, I have seen one that promotes doing the same thing as the video shows.
Interesting concept but one would have to wonder if it would work well in a large burn repair.

Here are examples of large burns that were repaired, the same principles of how these were repaired would work quickly and easily in even small repairs.

Here was a very large deep burn

here is the repair

these were about a 15 minute repair
