When I was a wee lad all of my friends wanted to be firemen, policemen, doctors, or cowboys. But I had loftier ambitions. You see i wanted to be a carpet cleaner. I remember sitting on the curb in front of the Dew Drop Inn watching the carpet cleaning trucks go by on their way to rescue some poor housewife from a filthy carpet. I swore to myself that some day, some how, I would join the ranks of the cleaning professional. I studied hard, applied myself, spent countless hours mentally rolling and unrolling vaccum and solution hoses till I knew that i had it right. I wasn't easy but by the grace of God , hard work , determination , and against all odds , I can proudly say that I am a rug sucker.
