Upselling is a waste of time!!!

Yep, I said it, Up selling is a complete waste of your time and your customers....

Nooo, I'm not saying that we as cleaners shouldn't up sell carpet protector, or upholstery cleaning or that it really is a waste of time, but more so, we need to change our minds from Up SELLING, to UP HELPING.

You got it, change your frame of mind from saying the words "SELL, SELL, SELL" to "HELP, HELP, HELP".

Selling already has a bad image and the last thing our prospects & potential clients want is a pushy salesmen in their home/office. Clients are more willing to buy when someone is willing to find out what the problems are and who is truly committed to solving their problems.

Be seen as a true helper and NOT a seller and watch how you will set yourself apart from your competition!!!
