hmmm, I just asked how often you get the calls not who calls you or how you do the job or how much you charge. I was not looking for any secrets.

My customers ask me if they should get into this business. If you're not going to get the calls on a regular basis its not worth it.

Now that I think of it, the best place to look is to our local government to find out the regulations and rules as to who is suppose to be doing these jobs in Ontario Canada. I don't think you guys can help me with this one.

A high percentage of crime scene jobs occur in rental properties. The landlords insurance usually covers it. Homeowners can cover it too unless specifically exempted. The PPE and Biohazard procedures are pretty standard and cross trains to other situations you may already be doing. I do these jobs alone most of the time not wanting to expose any more people to it than necessary. By far the hardest aspect of the job is dealing with family members. It's 20% cleaning ability and 80% councilor. I am often contacted by the local police to do these jobs. I've done homes, businesses, automobiles, a yacht, and a private jet. Each provides it's own unique challenge. It is highly profitable work and I too have done jobs for nothing depending on the circumstance. The hardest one was a suicide of a personal friend of my wife's. (That's all I have to say about that as well.)

I ordered the Amdecon training ... now right after I orded i thought what am i doing... i will never use this.... but its very intresting and even though i may not get into full blown C&T clean up it may come in handy to clean up smaller jobs... Mr. Tillman is very very good in this training video and seems to be a stand up guy.... anyway any questions fire away i will try to answer them...

If Newport News is anything like it used to be, you will stay busy all year long.

When i lived in Newport News we were told never to go past the R/T building .... we lived up by CEBAF ..... we did go past the R/T building once just to see and we got the evil eye from some guys on the corner and we got the heck out of there !

Yes, they can. I started all by myself. One of the benefits of my course is I teach you how to do things by yourself you would normally think requires two people.

    Re: Crime scene clean up

People tend to think that police take care of the cleanup after an accident or crime. That’s not true. If your property ends up being a crime scene or accident scene, it is your responsibility to clean it up or hire a professional company such to do the job.
