Go to your local dry cleaner and get some of their digester that they use. You will be amazed.

And finish off with rust remover........

I have always used cobbs enzymedeordrant.,. Always got rid of it.

Stain Zone works every time for me. Put it on andwatch it disappear

Yes. I clean like I clean everything else and spray Urine Stain Remover on it.

Sometimes a blood stain can be rinsed with warm (never hot) water and removed. It may require a digestor such as Bio Chage or an oxidizer such as StainZONE. Just go through the steps.
If the stain is human blood, take precautions.
If anyone wants a pamphlet I wrote on removing blood, send me an email. Put "Blood Stain" in the subject line.

Thanks for the tips everyone.

Very good point! I know of a local company that charges a $95 service fee on any blood clean up because they require employees to use a HEPA kit, and everything is disposed of in a bio-bag and taken away by a waste company. Also, all employees are given Hepatitis shots. The service fee helps defray the cost of all that.
You probably won't get HIV or anything, but Hepatitis and other diseases can also be devastating.

I've always just rinsed with cold water then sprayed CTI's Stain Magic. No call backs. Simple stuff.....

All good ideas, but if the blood is in the latex backing you are screwed. The best and most cost effective approach in my opinion is a good sharp knife and a good carpet repair man. Surface blood can also be removed with a protein spotter with a rust remover final rinse to deal with the iron in the blood. Be careful not to over wet as that will push the blood deeper into the materials. Upholstery is a whole other subject matter that can be extremely difficult to get blood out of. Some times the value of what you are trying to restore needs to be weighed against the cost of the restoration. No one of us makes money when we return to jobs for free because your method of restoration caused more damage or did not work.

love Serum CU.... great stuff

Enzyme all the way; with rust remover after rinse out; thoroughly flush.
