Unhappy Resolve Versus Zone Perfect and Traffic Slam

I had a single Living room cleaning at the end of the day. It Was set Up by a local Realtor. For an eviction that had occured. The Carpet was nasty but not too bad. Traffic lanes and the reek of weed being smoked in the house. Upon setting up for the prespray I Washed off the sprayer in the sink.. A bottle of resolve sitting there on the counter HHHMMMMM??? with other stuff being trashed out..hhmm Went to the van got the other two hydroforce sprayers.and the jug of traffic slam. I divieded the living room into thirds of equal soil content.. Presprayed with zone perfect with a lil bit of citrasolve added, connected up the traffic slam for Olefin, sprayed then Of course the resolve then presprayed. I was actually discusted with the results..... I paid $35 for the zone perfect, $27 for the Traffic slam. and the Resolve was a freebie. I wish I had my camera with me because sad to say whats the deal?? why does resolve work better than the pro stuff CRCII so insisting we use????? or was it the residual weed taking over me LMBO>>> yeah it was bad had to ozone and fog and closed all the doors with all windows opened doors too

    Water temp was between 180 - 190
    Carpet was Olefin
    end Zone was the rinse
    silica based defoamer in tank.
Resolve was steam care or something like that.

Well resolve being a soap based product will leave a sticky residue on the carpet ..... also has a bleaching effect too ... this residue will attract dirt (think sticky fly paper). You would be doing your customers no favor by using resolve and having to come back 3 or 4 times more often.

I heard Tide works well also but then you get get the full rinse cycle on a carpet can you.

keep in mind also that resolve has a much larger saturation than professional carpet cleaning products. Larger saturation means more money for R and D. I actually don't think the stuff is that bad. The bad part is how people use it. How would our carpets look if we pre-sprayed and then used a towel to wipe up the dirt?

I love the stuff after all It was the reason I was there in the first place LOL. Thanks Owen I am all to familiar with the residues they do leave behind.

I just would like to know why doesn't the expensive pro stuff do the same. Clean after all it is suppossed to be professional grade. makes me wonder if I should also switch to a RUG DOCTOR too after all it did get the Gold seal from CRCII lol yeah right just kidding about that one

I tried this Resolve comparison; Enzyme I use is way better, Don't need a defoamer. Sorry dude; this post may be misleading; And please don't let your experiment mis lead you. As stated above max suds and bleaching properties.

Make your own Resolve with Haitian Cotton Shampoo, Enzyme, And a bit of desolved Fels Naptha. Only thing I can Guarantee is it will clean the heck out of carpet; BTW only use clear water rinse.

Also try on Biege/Off White Cut Pile Run of The Mill Carpet Raw Borax, 40 Volume, and Haitian Cotton Shampoo.

Rickie what enzyme do you use? I dont plan on using resolve by any means but I was curious and the carpet was nasty. surprisingly it didnt foam up as much as zone perfect does. I checked the tank aferwards to make sure lol.. but for entertainment purposes It was worth it

Thanks for the link Jason .. anybody know why frigging adobe takes over my computer (everybodys actually) till it loads. You would think that the program might load in the background allowing me to switch tabs and surf the internet for a bit. Nope cant do anything for about 5 - 10 seconds. ARGH !!!!

I see that it has sodium lauryl sulfate .... thats in my shampoo !! Pert Plus for the carpet ....? never thought of that ...

lol hey a rug cleaning agent for rugs lol if I ever go bald I can use either Purt or resolve to clean my hair piece lol thanks guys. I also think the ether is the most powerful agent in the mix its a powerful type of solvent to the best of my knowledge.
