Test an area for color stability with your ink remover if there is no change (test each color). If there is no color bleed apply some Stain Magic for wool to create a barrier on and around the stain so the ink will not spread. Then apply your ink remover and extract.

I like Perky Spotter for many spills on wool - it's not as reactive or NUCLEAR as some others (Coffee Mate will kill a rug if you use it on the wrong one...) - but Perky is mild, gives you some control, and as you work it in, and rinse away the ink, it is the least likely to make a halo around the area by bleaching out colors.
Test it in one area first, and see how it works. Be sure to rinse it out.
