Just a note that when you post questions on rugs - please post photos. It is difficult, and dangerous, to give advice without knowing what you really are talking about.

For example, someone posted about how to remove a stain from a wool carpet. Two people advised Red Relief for Wool (a good product, by the way) - but knowing the type of Persian rug this is (technically Iranian but Persian sounds cooler...), this product could easily create a disaster in this case.

So please have photos and give any details you have... just so we don't have lots of rug disasters as a result.

I've been on the road 3 weeks (working on a marketing project and event with Paula Abdul and Piranha, which was WAY cool....) - but I'm back now.

Thanks to those of you who have requested my rug cleaners guide on my blog, and the feedback you've given me - I really, really appreciate you taking the time.
